You light up to have a smoke
Cough and splutter nearly choke
Do you curse that dreaded weed?
As your habit you continue to feed.
Are you not afraid you’ll catch that bug?
As you continue to pull on that addictive drug
Or is it that you don’t give a care?
As they continue to write about that dreaded scare
Do you think to yourself it can’t happen to me?
As you continue to ignore the constant plea
Do you think to yourself what have I to gain?
If I give up the one thing that keeps me sane
You’ll continue to live life to the full
Stub this one out and wait for your next pull.

Give it up. It’s bad, bad, bad. I smoked 2 packs a day and stopped about 20 yeats ago. Do not miss it at all.

Have not smoked for the past 35 years but love the whiff of a good cigar/pipe tobacco
