Easing into Spring.

I funnel my thoughts and I am in a Spring time poem

Sweet wonderment, time of new beginnings

It’s vernal equinox, the first day of Spring

Time of daffodil and gorse

not forgetting of course

Lamb, Blackbird, Rabbit, et cetera

As swelling buds and tiny leaves

begin to show themselves.

Nature bursting forth.

Awaiting the time to sit

by a babbling brook

Listening as water gently trickles –

cascading over stones.
