Driving by an abattoir

I wondered

Did those corralled cattle smell blood?

What was going on inside those four walls?

Not knowing, their fear and the fact were about to die-

The seller, not mourning their demise with head bowed

content with his gain.

Today I dined on stuffed flat cap mushrooms

no boundaries, I thought.

    1. Never touch the stuff Fransi – MacDonalds I mean, don’t know what time you have there but I am two hours past breakfast of home made brown bread, bowl of porridge, two mugs of strong tea (no sugar) set up now for the day, the dog sitting wagging his tail so it’s time for walkies. Enjoy your day. Chris.

      1. I never touch it either. Excellent breakfast you’ve had Chris. I’ll be having yoghurt with fruit, granola and a drizzle of honey in a couple of hours. With a mug of coffee. No dog to walk though. Enjoy your day as well ๐Ÿ™‚
