Careful where you trod.

We walk by them

Those buried in the graveyard

Remember them

Those buried in the graveyard

Where are they now

Those buried in the graveyard

Are they at peace

Those buried in the graveyard

Who are they

Those buried in unmarked graves in the graveyard

Are they remembered?

Should we not kneel and bow our head

For those buried in the graveyard

Will they ever know we visited

Those buried in the graveyard

May they continue to rest in peace

Those buried in the graveyard.

  1. Very beautiful Chris. Jewish people, when visiting loved ones in the cemetary, put pebbles on top of the gravestones for that very reason — so they will know you’ve been there.
