A trusty pen. Poetry from the pen of

~The Poet’s Poet~

As his fingers clenched like pincers

Squeezing life into Mr. Parker.

Never afraid to fail

He approached the job in hand

With rapturous delight.

Strike while the iron’s hot

In this frame of mind

Poetry in motion.

Parcel up those words

Calms desperate situations.

Rarely the procrastinator

Erasing those holes in his memory

Waxing lyrical, offers much encouragement

He sits, goes through the motions

Clenched fist, signs off with a satisfied mind.
