You put soul in the poem

Allowing words to freely roam

At times they fight hard against rhyme

Yet they succumb in time

Well-seasoned, words are

Confident, with lots of flair

Invite them to your table

Be assured they’ll be reliable

Compose in any way you wish

Words will know when you should finish.
