  1. Thanks again for your award nomination Chris. From here you just need to send me the 7 questions that you want me to answer and the rest is up to me. Regarding awards in general there’s a good procedural explanation given here by Brent Gladney http://brentgladneywriter.wordpress.com/2013/03/07/ive-been-nominated/ The technical rationale of the award system is explained here http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2013/02/13/more-traffic-and-backlinks-for-your-blog-awards-and-memes/
Once again, my appreciation Chris and I beg that you go easy on me with those 7 questions!

    1. Thanks for all the info Mike, have to wait for the assistance of one of my young techies to come to my aid as you probably realise by now I am illiterate in relation to the works of the bicycle!!
In relation to the 7 questions you refer to all that is required is that you say 7 things about youself – they don’t have to be too personal.

    1. You are most welcome, I guess none of us would be here if it were not for the encouragement of others, it would be a lonely place without the company and comments.

    1. Hi Meredith, I am coming down with nominations lately, way back I made the decision of being ‘awards’ free I thank you for thinking my scribblings worthy of an award, I hope you are not offended if I decline, being accepted into the community that is ‘Blogsvile’ having people follow, like, comment, read and communicate for me is award enough.
      Thanks again,
      Chris.

      1. Chris, I’m certainly not offended. Another of my nominees, Don Merritt, declined as well for the same reason. I admire your decision.

      3. Thanks for the compliment. I’ll have to do some more investigation about why it won’t play on my page on my particular computer.

  3. Haha, I just looked at your blog and of course it has tons of poetry (I should have looked first shouldn’t I?) I commend you on it; I find it very hard to do (well).

I’ll admit that generally when I come across poetry posts I skip them but I do on occasion have a read and sometimes I find excellent pieces that I can relate to, and yet others to me don’t make sense. I am sure this is a fault on my part rather than the authors.

It is something that I feel that I should like (a bit like ale) but I am having difficulty with it (again like ale).

So it is my turn to apologise in case I caused offence.

    1. Every one to their own I say, but I find it an education reading through the variety of posts – oh and I am a lager person – my taste buds never took to ale.
      Happy writing,
I’m off now to hit the follow button and catch up further on your posts.
